I have been thatching for 20years in the southern region and have experience in all aspects of thatching, from minor repairs, re-ridges and full re-thatches to the more unusual and challenging projects.

I can also carry out insurance inspections and surveys and advise on buying a thatched house .

I am a member of the National Society of Master Thatchers and I work closely with the 'Thatching Advisory Service' (TAS). In working with TAS I can ensure familiarity with current available fire proof materials and techniques.

I have knowledge and experience in 'Water Reed, Comb wheat straw and Long straw thatching, anything from traditional country cottage to 21st century new build.
