Weekend in Dorset September 2015, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Allsorts Motor Club of Alresford.  We stayed at the Fox at Ansty and departing at 10 am on Saturday, we drove through Milton Abbas and by Milton Abbey School for the visit to Moreton.  After visiting the grave of T E Lawrence and the Church of St Nicholas and St Magnus to view the wonderful Whistler windows we had our coffee stop in the Old School Tea Rooms. We travelled on to the Weld Arms for lunch and, during the afternoon, visited Tyneham.  The views across the beautiful Dorset coastline were magnificent.

On Sunday, we enjoyed coffee and shortbread at Athelhampton House before touring the house and gardens.  Time was then spent at Bovington Tank Museum and Clouds Hill.  The memorial placed adjacent to the scene of T E Lawrence’s accident on his Brough Superior was also found.
